Objective or reward: how to read an Adventure Blocks mission

On a mission screen, the objective and rewards answer different questions: what condition you need to meet and what loot the game offers. The official image below shows the distinction in one concrete example.

An official example: reach a particular score

A Google Play promotional image shows a Path mission with the objective of reaching 260 points. The same screen presents encounter rewards and a button to start. These are details of that published example, rather than a claim that every mission requires 260 points or awards the same rewards.

In the image, “Reach 260 points” is the mission condition. Below it are three advertised rewards: +10 coins, +45 XP and one relic. Those figures are not the points objective and do not prove you have already received the loot. The Start button begins the encounter in this example.

Three questions for reading this screen

  1. What does it ask for? In this example, reach 260 points.
  2. What reward is offered? Coins, XP and the relic appear separately from that condition.
  3. Has it already been earned? The image describes an objective and loot; it does not prove you have completed this mission in your own game.

Give the current node that same attention when returning to a saved campaign. There is no need to recreate the board with physical toys: make the decision on the actual mission on your phone.

When you want to try Classic

Adventure Blocks also includes an independent Classic mode focused on placing pieces. Our Campaign and Classic guide helps you choose a session. To prepare for the route, read how to choose a relic as well.

The game is paid and available for Android. Check current details on Google Play or explore the Adventure Blocks website.
