Finish the download before losing your connection
To continue a block-puzzle adventure during a journey without signal, prepare Adventure Blocks while you can still download it. Its Google Play listing advertises offline play, without ads or in-app purchases. The Android game is paid: check store availability and compatibility with your device before buying.
There are two practical decisions: have the game installed and know which encounter you will continue from. Offline gameplay does not download an app that is not yet on your phone.
Prepare the phone you will actually take
This is a suggested personal check, not a test we performed on your phone:
- Open the official Adventure Blocks listing and check that it is the IliciLabs game for your Android device.
- Complete installation with a connection before traveling. If it is already installed, check whether the store offers an update and let it finish before leaving.
- Open the game and locate your campaign or Classic mode. This checks that you are entering the product you intended to take.
- Try it without a connection when you have time to stop calmly. If it does not open or you cannot continue as expected, resolve that before relying on it during the journey.
The public listing is the source for advertised offline play. Your own check concerns your particular installation; this guide does not certify every phone or configuration.
Resume from an encounter, rather than an assumed save
The official description says campaign progress is saved between encounters. Before closing a session you want to resume, check the state shown after finishing the encounter. On returning, locate your place on the map and read the next objective.
Imagine finishing an encounter before leaving and saving the next one for the train. The useful check on returning is recognizing that progress and the pending mission. You do not need to remember every piece on the previous board to decide what to tackle now.
That example relies on the between-encounter saving documented by the store. Do not extend it to force-closing midway through a board, switching phones, reinstalling or restoring a cloud backup: the cited description does not establish those recovery methods. Preserve your installation when your aim is to continue that campaign during the trip.
Choose the session you want on the journey
To follow the adventure, continue from the map and review the available mission. For an independent piece-placement session, the game also includes Classic. The guide to both modes explains that choice in more detail.
