The contract also changes which path you can consider
If toll paths are locked during a contract, read the contract status before assuming you lack coins. In the official Adventure Blocks image checked on 31 October 2026, that section explains that the lock is caused by a contract in progress.
This is a visible restriction in that example from the Android videogame. It does not mean every path is always locked or that paying more will remove the restriction.
The decision shown by the panel
The current Google Play promotional image presents a voluntary contract involving three ordered encounter types. The same panel contains toll paths and explains their lock while the contract is active.
Do not compare only the contract bonus with another node’s reward. First check which options your campaign currently allows. An appealing reward and a selectable route are not the same thing.
A worked reading for your next choice
Imagine you want to continue a contract and notice an interesting toll path while checking the map. Before calculating its value, read the information inside the game:
- Check whether the contract is active and which step remains in its sequence.
- Check the status of the route you are considering. A reward amount does not confirm you can enter it.
- If the panel shows a contract-related lock, prepare your choice using the options your game actually makes available.
- When the status changes, read the choices again rather than reusing an earlier calculation.
This example does not guarantee that the path will be offered later or describe a way to cancel the contract. The image does not establish those functions. Use your version’s information to decide what you can do now.
